Surfynol® 420 by Evonik is a nonionic surfactant. Used in waterborne industrial coatings, internal can coatings, paper coatings and printing inks. Enhances flow and leveling. Provides coverage over low-energy and/or contaminated substrates. Possesses rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. Prevents smut formation in metalworking lubricants. Surfynol® 420 imparts mechanical and freeze/thaw stability in latex emulsions.
