Surfynol® 107L

Surfynol® 107L by Evonik is an alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs)-free, silicone-free or fluorosurfactants-free non-ionic surfactant. Acts as a wetting agent and molecular defoamer. It is based on a proprietary high-performance Gemini chemistry. Exhibits chemical stability from pH 3 to 13. Offers a range of surface active performance benefits and disruption in the the foam stabilization properties of other formulation components, providing knock-down, defect-free defoaming and deaerating benefits. Imparts efficient surface tension reduction and wetting benefits in both low speed and dynamic operations. Can reduce minimum film forming temperature (MFFT). It is an easy-to-handle low viscosity clear liquid. Suitable for low- and zero-VOC, waterborne formulations. Surfynol® 107L is used in automotive OEM & refinishing coatings, OEM, DIY & UV-based wood coatings, industrial maintenance & metal coatings, concrete architectural & decorative coatings, inks & graphic art applications, overprint varnishes and pigment concentrates. The shelf life for this product is 24 months from the date of manufacture. Recommended dosage ranges between 0.1 and 1.5% of total formulation weight.
