RHEOLATE® 185 (for Paper) by Elementis is a HASE-type (Hydrophobic modified Alkali Swellable Emulsion) synthetic thickener based on an acrylic backbone. It is a cost-effective, highly efficient rheological additive with an ideal water retention capacity. It is specially designed to replace cellulosic thickeners.
  • RHEOLATE® 185 (for Paper) is supplied as a low-viscosity liquid, providing ease of addition and incorporation in coatings.
  • It is used in paper- and cardboard coatings.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.5-2%.
  • It has a shelf life of 2 years.
