M-P-A® 14

M-P-A® 14 by Elementis is an anti-settling agent. It is a special montmorilonite clay that has been organically modified. It has the distinctive feature of preventing hard settling of pigments in organic paint systems without appreciably contributing to an increase in apparent (package) viscosity.

• It imparts pigment suspension, preventing hard settling of pigments and fillers.
• It possesses excellent viscosity stability.
• It is useful over a wide range of polar and non-polar organic solvents.
• It does not appreciably increase the apparent (package) viscosity of the system.
• It helps prevent floating and separation of pigments in mixed pigment systems.
• It can be incorporated into organic coating systems using any equipment suitable for the proper dispersion of pigments.
