M-P-A® 40X

M-P-A® 40X by Elementis is a thixotropic additive for solvent-based coatings. It works as an anti-silking agent. It gives good suspension performance. It is especially excellent for industrial, traffic and marine paints.

• It does not exhibit any trouble such as viscosity increase and seeding.
• It prevents pigment agglomeration, settling and hard caking.
• It is easily dispersible and rapidly dispersed than other conventional anti-settling agents.
• It maintains excellent viscosity stability in storage.
• It is suitable for inks, zinc rich primer, oil & oil modified alkyd resin-, red lead-, chlorinated rubber-, epoxy paints.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.0% for industrial coatings and 0.2-0.5 wt% for the other paint.
• The shelf life of this M-P-A® 40X is 1 years.
