Dapro® DF 609

Dapro® DF 609 by Elementis is a water-based emulsion of polysiloxanes and organomodified polysiloxanes. Acts as a defoamer. It is a water dispersable, non-explosive, opaque off-white liquid with a mild odor. Available in EMEA region and Americas. Suitable for water-based coatings including pure acrylic and styrene acrylics for decorative paints. It is in compliance with REACH, TSCA (USA), EINECS (EU), DSL (Canada), NDSL (Canada), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), KECL (Korea), IECSC (China), AICS (Australia) and NZIoC (New Zealand) and NECSI (Taiwan). It is also regulated with ISO 9001/ ISO 9002 certificates. Typically used at 0.3-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing. has a shelf life of 2 (two) years from date of manufacture. Dapro® DF 609 is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
