Dapro® DF 649

Dapro® DF 649 by Elementis is a mixture of polysiloxanes in glycols. Acts as a defoamer. It is a non-explosive, translucent off-white liquid with a mild, ester-like odor. Available in Americas. Especially efficient in destabilizing both macro and micro foam in water-based coatings and inks. Suitable for water-based decorative, wood, and other industrial coatings as well as inks. It is in compliance with REACH, TSCA (USA), EINECS (EU), DSL (Canada), NDSL (Canada), ENCS (Japan), PICCS (Philippines), KECL (Korea), IECSC (China), AICS (Australia) and NZIoC (New Zealand) and NECSI (Taiwan). It is also regulated with ISO 9001/ ISO 9002 certificates. Typically used at 0.1-1.0% on total weight, but should be optimized by testing. has a shelf life of 2 (two) years from date of manufacture. Dapro® DF 649 by Elementis is incompatible with oxidizing agents.
