DOWSIL™ 8628 Additive

DOWSIL™ 8628 Additive by Dow is a 100% active, APEO-free, low VOC organo-functional silicone resin. Acts as a defoamer/ anti-foaming agent. It is easy to disperse and has limited impact on surface appearance. Suitable for use in low pigment volume concentration paints and inks. Designed for water-borne UV curable inks, PVC inks, acrylic wood paints, trims, varnishes and water-based wood stains. Recommended dosage level of DOWSIL™ 8628 Additive is 0.05–1%. It is listed in TSCA, ENCS/ISHL, KECI, NZIoC, AICS, IECSC, PICCS and DSL.
