DOWSIL™ 52 Additive

DOWSIL™ 52 Additive by Dow is a low viscosity, pourable, silanol functional, ultra-high molecular weight silicone dispersion in water. Acts as an anti-blocking agent & abrasion and scratch/ scrub/ mar resistance. Improves slip in water-borne and solvent-borne systems containing polar solvents. Provides water resistance & imparts leveling, wetting and gloss. Reduces static and dynamic coefficient of friction. It is recoatable, APEO-free and effective at low concentration. DOWSIL™ 52 Additive is suitable for acrylic & PUD-based wood coatings, interior/ exterior paints, inks and overprint varnishes. It complies with U.S. FDA 21 CFR 176.210 regulation.
