Chiguard® 1099

Chiguard® 1099 by Chitec Technology acts as an ultraviolet (UV) light absorber and stabilizer. It is designed specifically for coatings where high baking treatments are required and/or acidic ingredients are used. It is highly compatible with alkyds, vinyls, PVC plastisol, unsaturated polyester UPES and styrenes.

• It is suitable for weathering-resistant-, high solids- and clear & pigmented solvent-borne coating systems.
• It provides excellent UV protection to coatings from long-term outdoor exposure.
• Use in wood coatings (varnishes, stains & paints), plastic coatings, industrial stoving enamels, metals coatings, coil coatings and car waxes/polishes.
• The recommended dosage level of Chiguard® 1099 is 0.5 to 2.0%.
