RHEOBYK® -T 1000 VF

RHEOBYK® -T 1000 VF by BYK is a VOC-free associative thickener (HEUR) for aqueous systems to generate a Newtonian flow behavior. It improves processability, levelling, and storage stability. It is easy to handle and reduces spattering during application.

• It increases viscosity in the high shear range while having an extremely low impact in the low shear range.
• It is used in emulsion paints and coatings that are based on PU, alkyd emulsions, acrylate, styrene acrylate, and vinyl acetate copolymer binders.
• It is suitable for architectural coatings, wood & furniture coatings, and paper coatings.
• Recommended dosage level is 1-4% based upon the total formulation.
• RHEOBYK® -T 1000 VF has a shelf life of 18 months.
