RHEOBYK® -7420 CA

RHEOBYK® -7420 CA by BYK is liquid rheology additive to produce thixotropic flow behavior in aqueous and highly polar systems. It is the solution of a modified urea. It is used as an anti-settling additive to produce aqueous pigment, filler, and matting agent concentrates.

• It has excellent shear thinning effect because of its low viscosity.
• It improves anti-sagging and anti-settling properties.
• It is suitable for controlling the thixotropic flow behavior.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.3-1.5% based upon the total formulation to prevent settling and 0.3-3% based upon the total formulation to prevent sagging.
• RHEOBYK® -7420 CA has a shelf life of 18 months.
