Loxanol® CA 5120

Loxanol® CA 5120 by BASF is an APEO- & VOC-free, high performance coalescing agent and non-ionic surfactant. It is low HLB, low odor and is compatible with a variety of resin systems. It effectively reduces the minimum film formation temperature (MFFT), while maintaining & improving the finished film characteristics.

• It reduces & eliminates VOC loading and improves open time performance, block- & scrub resistance.
• It is used in water-based- & architectural coatings, high PVC- and low VOC paints.
• It is suitable for exterior & elastic paint plasters, wood paints & stains, and interior matt-, silk-, semi-gloss- and gloss paints.
• The recommended dosage level of Loxanol® CA 5120 is 1-3 wt%.
• It has a shelf life of 1 year.
