Loxanol® MI 6627

Loxanol® MI 6627 by BASF is a highly efficient corrosion inhibitor. It is used in combination with zinc phosphate for water- and solvent borne systems. It is a non-volatile solid with an extremely low water solubility. It increases the anti-corrosive effect of pigments which form protective layers in the anodic zone.

• It provides excellent dispersability and improved stability of anti-corrosive coatings against sedimentation.
• The recommended dosage level of Loxanol® MI 6627 is 1-2%, calculated on total paint.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
