Hydropalat® WE 3486

Hydropalat® WE 3486 (Old Name: Hydropalat® 886) by BASF is a modified dioctyl sulfosuccinate wetting agent, partly based on renewables, for high-gloss overprint varnishes. It offers enhanced substrate wetting and levelling properties.

• Hydropalat® WE 3486 provides good solubility in water and good compatibility in various systems.
• It produces a marked reduction in the surface tension of water-based lacquers, printing inks and coatings.
• It increases gloss due to its coalescing effect.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
