Attagel® 40

Attagel® 40 by BASF is a fine-milled, specialty attapulgite. Acts as a very good thixotropic thickening agent. Offers rapid dispersion. Provides thixotropic viscosity build, syneresis (liquid separation) control, pigment suspension, sag resistance, good film build and reduced water sensitivity. Offers improved tint strength/ hiding in paints, spatter-, bacteria- and chemical resistance, very good binding and tabletting features and improved extrusion properties. Attagel® 40 is recommended for use in high-quality water-borne systems like latex and specialty paints.
