SYNTRAN® AC 4005

SYNTRAN® AC 4005 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a water-based, APEO & co-solvents free, cationic acrylic copolymer solution. It is a softer version of SYNTRAN® AC 4006. It is used in stain-blocking paints & primers and shows excellent performance in blocking wood & cork extractives, nicotine, graffiti, soot and water stains.

• It is designed for metal passivation having good compatibility with cationic PUDs and some metal salts or other low-pH ingredients.
• SYNTRAN® AC 4005 is especially recommended for wood primers where sandability is required.
• It is also used in the formulation of coatings with excellent adhesion properties on critical substrates such as glass, ceramic tiles, zinc and aged alkyd paints.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
