VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ F807Blk by Victrex is a black colored, durable polyetheretherketone polymer-based black liquid dispersion. It has been specifically formulated to provide a resilient coating with high wear and abrasion resistance on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates such as carbon steel, cast steel and aluminium with varying levels of lubricants to give good release properties. These properties are retained at high temperatures where other coatings would potentially fail. Its typical properties are high continuous use temperature of 260°C, excellent abrasion and cut through resistance at these high temperatures, combined with excellent chemical and radiation resistance. It has a low level of extractables and inherently flame retardant. It can solve the problem of flash rusting. VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ F807Blk complies with the compositional requirements of regulation 21 CFR 175.300 for resinous and polymeric coatings of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
