PLEXTOL™ D 224

PLEXTOL™ D 224 by Sythomer is an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer. It can be used to produce self-adherent coatings on a variety of materials such as plastic sheeting, paper, textiles, sheet metal, glass. By mixing PLEXTOL™ D 224 with other emulsions from the PLEXTOL range, the film properties of the former can be influenced within wide limits and thus adapted to the intended application. It can be applied by the usual methods such as spraying, impregnating, printing, padding and coating. It can be thickened by means of thickener emulsions such as ROHAGIT SD 15 and cellulose or starch derivatives. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
