Litex QuickShield™ 1545

Litex QuickShield™ 1545 by Synthomer is a copolymer of butadiene and styrene. It is a binder for latex coatings like glass fibre fabric finishing. Due to its novel formaldehyde free crosslinking system, a quicker crosslinking is obtained at lower temperatures. The polymer forms a tack-free, medium stiff and tough film with excellent water- & alkali resistance after drying and fast curing. It has excellent adhesion to mineral substrates. It is also free from solvents and APEO. Litex QuickShield™ 1545 offers low viscosity which reduces or erases the water from the recipes and thus leads to faster drying, significant energy- and cost savings. It exhibits low odor and high efficiency.
