Albester™ 5501

Albester™ 5501 by Synthomer is carboxyl terminated polyester. It provides good resistance towards yellowing on baking and over baking. It offers outstanding flexibility. Coatings based on this resin allow the application of higher film thickness free from pinholes. Albester™ 5501 is designed for combination with ß-HAA in 96:4 or 96.5:3.5 ratios for industrial coatings. It has a shelf life of one year.
