THERMOLAC™ U-245B

THERMOLAC™ U-245B by Soken Chemical & Engineering is acrylic polymer used as a binder for ink and paint. It is designed for gravure printing that requires heat resistance, transparency and weatherability. It is an environmentally friendly product. In combination with various polyisocyanates, it forms a higher quality acrylic urethane layer than ordinary acrylic resin. It exhibits solvent resistance and quick-drying properties. It can be diluted in toluene and xylene. THERMOLAC™ U-245B is also applicable as a two-part acrylic-modified resin used as a clear paint binder and in overcoating materials for fancy plywood.
