SiliXan® T 330- 40/ IPA

SiliXan® T 330- 40/ IPA by SiliXan is an inorganic-organic silica-based grade. Acts as an abrasion-, temperature- and corrosion resistance agent. It can diluted with polar solvents like ethanol, isopropanol, dipropylene gylcol monomethyl ether or butyl glycol, and partially miscible with water. The curing is conducted at temperatures between 100°C and 500°C to achieve a high crosslinking. SiliXan® T 330- 40/ IPA is used as a binder for the formulation of glass-like and temperature stable coatings (upto 800°C) with anti-tarnishing property for steel and stainless steel, i.e. the yellow or blue tarnishing of the metallic steel surface is prevented in a high extend at 500°C. It is also used as a co-binder for solvent based lacquers or paints, and for application on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, glass or ceramic. Complies with EINECS, TSCA (USA), ECL (Korea), ENCS (Japan) and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The shelf life of the product is 3 months.
