CARBOFEN® 6060

CARBOFEN® 6060 by Polytrade is a powdered thermoplastic natural resin derived from parana pine tree. After being processed and modified, it is ready to be used as a raw material by itself or this other materials for foundry coating formulations. It reduces the cost of machining and polishing of the metal castings. This product offers easy dissolution in ethanol, great adhesion properties in refractory, low volume of generated gases, high yield of formulation and good stability of the resulting coating. CARBOFEN® 6060 can be added to the interior of sand molds, resulting in castings with smooth finishes and no roughness. The shelf life of this product is 3 years.
