POLYTONE PA 351

Polyamide resin based on polymeric fatty acids. It is a non reactive resin. Exhibits good anti-blocking characteristics. Inks prepared from this resin have good adhesion to a variety of substrates, excellent solvent release properties, low odor and good nitrocellulose compatibility. Possesses excellent solubility in solvents that do not attack rubber stereos like higher alcohols, ethanol and methanol at higher concentrations. Offers compatibility with ketonic-, maleic-, reduced phenolic- and pure phenolic resins. Shows partial compatibility with alkyds. Used in flexographic inks release lacquers. It is recommended to add small percentage of water or higher alcohols or aromatic hydrocarbon solvent.
