Fumaric modified ester of gum rosin. It exhibits solubility in alcohols, esters and ketones. Possesses slight solubility in aromatic solvents. Offers insolubility in aliphatic solvents. Shows compatibility with nitrocellulose and other modifiers used in alcohol-based printing inks. Suitable for use in water-based flexographic inks. Applications are rotogravure inks. Recommended for use in alcohol based flexographic ink formulations.
