Novalkyd S2003-75X

Saturated FA based non drying short oil alkyd resin diluted in 75% xylene. Due to its quite low viscosity as well as favourable dilutability it is suitable to produce non-yellowing paints and enamels with medium-high solids content. In combination with aliphatic isocyanates it gives polyurethane coatings characterized by good solvent release, fast hardening, excellent body and gloss. Cross linked with melamine resins it gives baking enamels curable at 130°C-150°C showing very good overall characteristics. Besides it is suitable as plasticizer for high quality nitro-cellulose coatings. Has very good wetting properties and it can be utilized as excellent grinding vehicle to produce pigment pastes for polyurethane, nitrocellulose and baking paints.
