LX® 2000

Thermally produced, phenol modified hydrocarbon resin. Offers low solution viscosity and ultrasolubility in ink solvents and vegetable oils. Enhances superb pigment wetting in carbon black dispersions and flushing vehicles for heatset and sheetfed systems. Can be used as an ideal co-resin in gel vehicles with highly structured phenolic modified rosin esters. Lowers VOC levels and enhances adhesion, hardness, and gloss in high solids, alkyd-based architectural and industrial maintenance coatings and primers.
