Rovene® 4487

Rovene® 4487 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer. It imparts good wet & dry tensile strength. It can be compounded to high solids using calcium carbonate, clays and alumina rihydrate as fillers. It has large filler tolerance, strong films at high filler loads and low water absorption. It has good adhesion to wide variety of surfaces contributing to good tuft binds and excellent delaminations in carpet applications. Rovene® 4487 is recommended for textile and carpet back coatings.
