Carboset® 525

Carboset® 525 by Lubrizol is a solid acrylic polymer soluble in alkaline water as well as many organic solvents. Provides very good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including cold rolled steel, phosphated steel, aluminum, brass, plastics and wood. Exhibits high gloss, flexibility and water resistance. Can be formulated for application into dip, brush, spray, flow or roll coating. Used to produce permanent water resistant coatings or temporary alkaline removable coatings. Carboset® 525 is suitable for applications like brass coatings and temporary protective coatings.
