SYLVATAL™ 20S Distilled Tall Oil

SYLVATAL™ 20S Distilled Tall Oil by KRATON is a tall oil alkyd resin. It contains 20% rosin acid content. It is fluid at room temperature. SYLVATAL™ 20S Distilled Tall Oil is recommended for use in varnishes. It shows monocarboxylic acid functionality. This grade is soluble in alcohols, aromatics, esters and ketones, while it is insoluble in water. It is compatible with other liquid fatty acids and vegetable oils. This grade has low saturated fatty acid content. The shelf-life of this grade is 12 months.
