DOMALKYD 5254 70 BAc by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is an alkyd resin modified with castor oil. It is supplied as 69-71% in butylacetate. It is soluble in esters, ketones and alcohols. DOMALKYD 5254 70 BAc offers fast drying and yellowing resistance. It is suitable for 2K PUR lacquers & enamels for wood and metal. It is compatible to be used with short & medium oil non-drying alkyd resins, saturated polyester resins, nitrocellulose and polyisocyanate resins. It is partially soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is stable for 12 months if stored in a dry place at temperature below 25°C.
