DOMALKYD 1722 70 D-60

DOMALKYD 1722 70 D-60 by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is an isophthalic alkyd resin modified with soyabean oil. It is supplied as 69-71 % in dearomatized white spirit D-60. It offers good drying properties and good pigment wetting capacity. It is compatible with high viscosity polymerized oils, natural & polymerized oils. DOMALKYD 1722 70 D-60 is soluble in aromatic, aliphatic & terpene hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers. It is suitable for impregnation & preservative finishes for wood and exterior varnishes. This grade is insoluble in lower alcohols and partially soluble in higher alcohols. It remains stable for 24 months if stored in its original packs in a dry place at a temperature below 25°C.
