DOMALKYD 1666 75 D-40/MP by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is a low viscosity alkyd resin modified with soyabean fatty acids. It is supplied as 74-76 % in dearomatized white spirit D-40/ MP. It can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. It offers good pigment wetting properties, high gloss, good flow, excellent brushability and fullness. DOMALKYD 1666 75 D-40/MP is insoluble in lower alcohols. It is suitable for general purpose binders and enamels for wood & metals. It is compatible with natural & polymerized oils, long & medium oil alkyd resins and colophonium modified maleic resins. It is soluble in aromatic, aliphatic & terpene hydrocarbons, esters, higher ketones and glycol ethers. It remains stable for 24 months if stored in its original packs in a dry place at a temperature below 25°C.
