DOMACRYL 840 50 X/SA by Helios Resins (Helios Group) is thermoplastic air drying polyacrylic resin. It imparts durability, heat stability, hiding power and drying time. This grade offers low solution viscosity, which helps in upgrading vinyl, chlorinated rubber and cellulosic system. It is used in solvent-based coatings. DOMACRYL 840 50 X/SA when combined with solution of toluene and butyl acetate, can be applied in road marking paints. It is also suitable for pigmented and transparent paints for metal coatings. It can be diluted in solvesso 100: xylene (1:1). It provides compatibility with plasticizers, vinyl resins, nitrocellulose, modified alkyd resins, acrylic resins and chlorinated rubber. Recommended shelf life is 24 months at storage temperature below 35°C.
