Hauthane L-3528

Hauthane L-3528 by Hauthaway is a co-solvent-, tin- & APEO-free, polycarbonate-based, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion. It imparts exceptional resistance towards humidity, abrasion, hydrolysis, oxidation and UV-degradation. It has excellent exterior weathering durability and toughness. It is ideally suited for exterior applications where film durability and longevity are important considerations. The rheology of Hauthane L-3528 may be modified with associative thickeners. It may be formulated into coatings applied by spray, brush or pad applicator. It can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions. It is designed for architectural coatings, aqueous coatings and for general coatings use on wood, plastic and metal substrates. The addition of 5–10% coalescing solvent is suggested in ambient temperature drying situations.
