Maleic Resin BC-530 by Foshan Baolin Chemical Industry is a light colored, rosin modified maleic resin. It is made of refined gum rosin and maleic anhydride, and is esterified by pentaerythritol. It provides good water resistance, hardness and gloss of paint surface. It exhibits color retention and good solubility with nitrocotton. Maleic Resin BC-530 reduces consumption of tung oil in fast-dry enamel paints. It is suitable for phenolic paints and road marking paints.
