HIMIDE 9030

HIMIDE 9030 by Cytech Coatings (Cytech Group) is a low viscosity, alcohol soluble polyamide resin. It offers high melting point, excellent compatibility with nitrocellulose along with tolerance to alcohol- and polar solvents. It exhibits poor to good gelatin-, water- and blocking resistance, as compared to co-solvent and alcohol reducible resins. HIMIDE 9030 requires the incorporation of nitrocellulose to optimize performance. It is used in packaging-, flexographic inks as well as lacquers. The shelf life of the grade is 12 months.
