HI-PACK116 by Cytech Coatings (Cytech Group) is a solvent-based, non-reactive, thermoplastic, semi-aliphatic polyurethane resin. It is a softer version of HI-PACK115. It aids in adhesion promotion and flexibilizing resin for other film forming ink binders. It offers balance of adhesion, alcohol solubility, low solvent retention value as well as excellent compatibility with alcohol-soluble nitrocellulose. It provides non-blocking films even at high temperatures. HI-PACK116 is used in solvent-based flexo and gravure inks for packaging films like poly, polyester, BOPP, polyolefin, PET, aluminum foils & metalized films. Resulting ink is recommended for surface printing as well as lamination. The shelf life of the grade is 12 months from the date of manufacturing.
