SETAL® 21-1499 by allnex is a high-solids, chain-stopped alkyd resin. It is similar to SETAL® 21-1491, in a low HAPS solvent blend. Suitable for the manufacture of general industrial air- & force dry (180°F surface temperature) and bake enamels for metals.
  • It exhibits fast drying & excellent gloss development and offers excellent exterior durability & color retention.
  • SETAL® 21-1499 is also used in automotive and rail car refinish enamels.
  • It has a shelf life of 1 year.
