DAOTAN® TW 7063/36WA by allnex is a polyester-based, acrylic modified, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It is a solvent- & emulsifier-free, aqueous emulsion of an aliphatic urethane-acryl-hybrid. It provides shear stability and improved thermo-yellowing (up to 200°C). Dried at ambient temperature it yields clear and crack-free films without any previous additions of solvents or paint additives. Paints based on this resin provides quick curing. Cured films are characterized by good abrasion resistance and good resistance to household cleaners. It is used in water-based primers and basecoats for various plastic substrates such as ABS, PA, PVC. The shelf life of DAOTAN® TW 7063/36WA is 450 days.
