Irgalite® Yellow K 1740 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a diarylide-based organic pigment. It is a red shade, strong and transparent yellow grade with excellent color strength. It offers light fastness and high saturation. It shows excellent dispersibility and good rheology. Irgalite® Yellow K 1740 is recommended for interior architectural coatings, digital-inkjet, gravure- and flexo printing inks. It is suitable for solvent-based, water-based and UV curable inks. It is used in digital-electrophotography, commercial, packaging and industrial printing applications. It also serves as a replacement for lead chromate.
