PhosGuard® J0855

Activated zinc phosphate formulated to be an economical drop-in replacement where conventional zinc phosphate alone cannot provide adequate corrosion protection in non-toxic formulations. Gives the same excellent stability and broad compatibility as conventional zinc phosphate. In reactive systems where shelf stability or pot life performance is required, J0855 is the most stable and least reactive of the PhosGuard® pigments. It has low oil absorption and minimal effect on color as well as hiding. It is especially well suited for application in MIL-spec coatings TTP-645. The minimum recommended amount is 0.25 pounds per gallon and up to a maximum of 4 pounds per gallon.
