Carbon Black C-391

Carbon Black C-391 by Huntsman is fluffy-grade carbon black pigment used in coatings and inks. Possesses a blue tone, relatively low oil absorption, very high jetness index. Exhibits easy dispersion, stability to sunlight and UV radiation. Contains no calcium sulfate. It is conductive to electricity. Offers alkali resistance. Is of sufficient purity for use in articles that come in contact with food (21CFR), but not suitable for the direct coloration of pet food or cosmetics. Carbon Black C-391 is used for coloring or tinting.
