HEUCOPHOS® ZAPP

HEUCOPHOS® ZAPP by Heubach is an effective and versatile anti-corrosive pigment for different binder systems. It is a zinc aluminum polyphosphate hydrate with improved electrochemical activity.

It possesses higher phosphate content compared to most orthophosphates which enables excellent long-term protective behavior.
It is recommended for solvent-based coatings based on long-, short- & medium oil alkyds, high solids alkyds & epoxies (with low or no VOC), 2K epoxies as well as 2K- & high solids polyurethanes.
HEUCOPHOS® ZAPP is also used in water-based coatings based on alkyd emulsions, 2K epoxies, 1K & 2K polyurethanes, silicone resins, acrylic & modified acrylics and butadiens (with low or no VOC).
It is suitable for wash- & shop primers, coil coatings, powder coatings and UV cured systems.
