Spartacryl PM® 60667

Perylene maroon 547 pigment dispersion. Spartacryl PM® 60667 dispersing resin is a non-functional acrylic polymer with a tightly controlled, low molecular weight. The molecular weight of the vehicle helps to ensure full development of pigment strength through its exception wetting properties while providing a rheological profile suited for in-plant tinting. PM acetate is used as its solvent because it is not toxic and does not react with crosslinking resins such as isocyanates. The acrylic carrier resin along with a proprietary additive package allow for high pigment solids and superior compatibility with a number of solvent based chemistries including, acrylic, urethane, epoxy, polyester, alkyds of all oil lengths, nitrocellulose, vinyl as well as hybrid systems. Offers high pigment loading for excellent color control and economy of use. Its primary applications include high performance industrial maintenance coatings, decorative coatings, machinery enamels and special effect paints as well as varnishes. Also used for marine, wood, concrete, plastic coatings and other high performance protective coatings.
