Silmer® H D2

Silmer® H D2 by Siltech is a reactive multi-functional silicone hydride prepolymer. It is used to modify polymer to improve its surface and physical properties. It provides improved slip, anti-blocking, mar resistance, surface smoothness, flexibility and hydrophobicity. It can be co-reacted into various polymers and UV cured systems for coatings. The hydride functionality in Silmer® H D2 gives a permanent binding into the matrix of polymers. The recommended amount of this grade ranges from 2.0-5.0%. Its shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. It is listed with TSCA, DSL, AICS, IECSC, MITI, KECL, CSNN, and NZIoC inventories.
