CN 9500

Polyurethane dispersion with acrylate functionality. It is a solvent-, surfactant- and tin free, readily biodegradable oligomer. Exhibits a good balance of flexibility & hardness and abrasion resistance without brittleness. Also exhibits good water-, stain- and chemical resistance. Shows high degree of formulating latitude and good flow & leveling characteristics. Offers tack-free (after drying) films that do not show increased opacity after 24 hours of QUV accelerated weathering exposure. Easily matts to a low gloss finish and imparts warm & rich appearance to wood substrates. Compatible with waterborne systems. Suitable for UV-cured wood coatings for furniture & kitchen cabinetry, floor coatings, metal coatings, paper & paperboard coatings and plastic coatings. Applications in inks include flexographic, gravure, inkjet, rotary screen, and screen inks.
