Hydrophilic fumed silica produced by flame hydrolysis of volatile silicon compounds. Acts as a thickener, thixotropic agent and antisettling agent. WACKER HDK® N 20ST is pure, x-ray amorphous silicon dioxide (SiO2). Used for liquid systems, coatings, paints, lacquers and varnishes. Has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored in the unopened original container.
