Caspol™ 5001

Polyol. It is a 100% solids castor oil based reactive diluent with a linear chain backbone having low viscosity, good compatibility and wetting properties. It is the lowest molecular weight diol of the Caspol® series. It exhibits very low viscosity and produces higher strength, elongation and flexibility than DB oil while being softer. Offers improved adhesion and chemical as well as moisture resistance properties. Used in high performance polyurethane coatings as well as low VOC UV resistant 2-component industrial maintenance and thermosetting OEM coatings. Also used in bake topcoats and primers for plastics.
